About the Client:

Our client is a leading provider of hybrid AV and security solutions, offering cutting-edge technology in meeting room systems, access control, and CCTV. They are looking to expand their team with a Technician and a Senior Security Engineer, focusing on projects, service, and IT/networking-based roles. The company primarily operates in and around London, with some project-led work at Heathrow and occasional travel to Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting AV systems, including Logitech and Yealink meeting room systems.
  • Working with security systems, particularly CEM access control and CCTV (Milestone, Eagle Eye, Axis, Hikvision).
  • Performing 2nd fix installations and providing technical support for both hardware and software solutions.
  • Managing and troubleshooting IP/network-based systems, with a strong focus on IT and backend configurations.
  • Working on projects and service contracts, ensuring smooth system operations.
  • Providing remote and physical support for occasional call-outs (low frequency, approx. 1 per month).

Requirements:

  • Experience in AV, security, and IT networking (junior IT network engineer background preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of IP-based security systems and meeting room solutions.
  • Experience with CCTV (Milestone, Eagle Eye, Axis, Hikvision) and access control (CEM Access Control).
  • Ability to perform back-end system configurations, with a preference for troubleshooting skills over installation experience.
  • Comfortable working on both service and project-based roles, with a focus on IT integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £40,000 - £60,000 basic.
  • Door-to-door travel cover for out-of-hours work.
  • Low on-call requirements (£140 per week for standby, approx. 1 call-out per month).
  • Minimal ladder work – primarily a laptop-based troubleshooting role.
  • Operations management support and structured career progression.
  • Work on cutting-edge AV and security technology.

If you have strong IT networking, AV, and security experience and are looking for a role with minimal call-outs and a focus on service & project work, this is the perfect opportunity. Apply now to join a growing team of experts!
