Responsibilities:

Commissioning and handover of fire alarm and disabled refuge installations

Programming fire alarm systems (including cause and effect) to specification
-
Installing/commissioning system extensions or alterations
-
Liaising effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
-
Completing all necessary commissioning documentation and certifications
-
Supporting service team activities during quieter project periods
-
Maintaining accurate company records and job data using IT systems
-
Occasional travel and overnight stays, as required by project location
-
Upholding company standards in both technical delivery and customer interaction
-
Providing support in warranty-related issue resolution
Requirements:
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Strong experience in fire system commissioning – not suitable for trainees
-
Proficiency with Honeywell Gent systems essential (Notifier/Protec desirable)

Familiarity with Advanced, Morley, and Kentec panels
-
Understanding of BS5839 Part 1:2017 – Unit 1 (Design)

Basic knowledge of CCTV and access control systems advantageous

Skilled in Baldwin Boxall, Cameo, or SigTel refuge systems

Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
High work ethic, self-motivated, and able to work independently under pressure

Strong commitment to customer service excellence and problem-solving
