The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in expanding our presence in the North of the UK. This is a fast-paced role suited to a go-getter who thrives on fresh challenges and building strong business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Generation:- Drive fresh sales opportunities through proactive networking.
- Represent the company at exhibitions and industry events to generate leads and establish partnerships.
- Reignite relationships with lapsed or low-spend accounts and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
- Build and nurture a strong pipeline through networking and staying ahead of market trends.
- Engage with decision-makers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets through a mix of strategic planning and direct sales efforts.
- A hunter mentality – you thrive on new opportunities and closing deals.
- Proven experience in business development, ideally in the security systems or access control sectors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strong track record of building relationships.
- A self-starter with exceptional organisational skills, able to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
