Senior Passive Fire Engineer
Location: Kent, but travel within the M25
Salary: £40,000 – £47,500 per year (dependent on experience)
Full-time | Permanent

Are you an experienced Fire Damper Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? My client is seeking a Senior Fire Damper Engineer with a strong background in remedial works to join their expanding team and take a lead role in delivering high-quality fire safety solutions.

About the Role:

As Senior Fire Damper Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting detailed fire damper inspections in accordance with BS 9999 and other relevant standards
Carrying out and overseeing remedial works to ensure full compliance
Producing accurate reports and remedial action documentation
Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical support where needed

What My Client is Looking For:

Proven experience in fire damper testing and remedial works
In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance standards
A proactive approach and the ability to manage projects independently
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
A valid UK driving licence (essential)

Certifications such as FDIS, TR19, or equivalent will be viewed very favourably.
