CCTV Commissioning Engineer - Midlands
Location: Midlands, UK
Salary:  £36 000 -  £38 000 per annum

A well-established and progressive building services company is looking to appoint a CCTV Commissioning Engineer on a permanent basis. This role involves the installation, commissioning, and handover of CCTV and related security systems across a variety of commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission CCTV systems, including IP-based and analogue setups, in accordance with current industry standards and best practices.

• Configure and optimise networked CCTV systems, including remote access, storage solutions, and video analytics.

• Ensure project timelines are met by proactively identifying and communicating any risks or potential delays.

• Deliver system handovers to clients, including functional demonstrations and basic end-user training.

• Complete timesheets, e-documentation (via tablet), and other relevant paperwork accurately and on time.

• Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are followed, in line with legislation and company policy.

• Undertake training as required to stay current with evolving technology and industry standards.

• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of customer data and system security at all times.

• Experience integrating CCTV systems with other security platforms (e.g. access control, intruder alarms) is advantageous.

• Product knowledge across systems such as Hikvision, Dahua, Avigilon, Axis, and Hanwha Techwin would be beneficial, including VMS setup and configuration.
