Technical Support Engineer – CCTV / VMS | London | Competitive Salary + Benefits
A leading global CCTV manufacturer is seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers, sales teams, and partners across the UK. This role covers product demonstrations, technical training, troubleshooting, and solution design support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support on IP CCTV and VMS solutions
- Deliver product demos, webinars, and technical training sessions
- Assist with pre-sales solution design and customer presentations
- Handle technical escalations from sales and support teams
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and support materials
- Work closely with R&D teams and Head Office on product feedback and issue resolution
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in IP CCTV, VMS, or network-based security solutions
- Strong knowledge of networking, installation, configuration, and interoperability of CCTV systems
- Experience in B2B security channels and system integration
- Confident presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft OS, Office, and network diagnostics (Cisco / Microsoft certifications preferred)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Desirable:
- Degree in IT, Networking, or related field
- Prior experience in the video surveillance industry
