Looking for a new opportunity? Our client is a multidisciplinary firm that excels in providing technical M&E expertise and advice on asset maintenance and replacement across a variety of projects and sectors.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients and implement agreed marketing strategies.
  • Conduct condition and dilapidation surveys, life cycle costing, and strategic planning.
  • Perform compliance auditing, fault finding, and problem solving.
  • Develop asset schedules and conduct maintenance audits.
  • Produce Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) plans.
  • Create Engineering Life Cycle and Forward Capital Cost plans.
  • Interpret engineering reports, drawings, layouts, and other visual aids.
  • Monitor and audit engineering maintenance contracts.
  • Write technical reports and specifications.
  • Conduct on-site Engineering Services inspections and reporting for due diligence (Vendors and Acquisition) and dilapidations.
  • Undertake maintenance procurement, including asset collection and preparation and review of tender documentation.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet project briefs and programme requirements.
  • Lead M&E teams in project coordination and delivery, including meetings, internal programming, and project reviews.
  • Manage client and team relationships, understanding and interpreting client needs.
  • Provide support and mentorship to other members of the engineering team.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience of mechanical and electrical systems across various sectors.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers.
  • Ensure adherence to Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and QA procedures for all projects.
  • Support strategic company sustainability policies and internal environmental programme objectives.

 

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Proven experience in mechanical and electrical systems across a range of sectors.
  • Strong technical expertise in asset management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lead projects.
  • Experience in condition surveys, life cycle costing, strategic planning, and compliance auditing.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering reports and drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and QA procedures.
  • Commitment to sustainability and low-energy initiatives.

  • Commitment to career development through in-house and external technical and non-technical training.
  • Commitment to achieving or maintaining Chartered Engineer status through a relevant professional institution.
  • Support the development and mentoring of team members.
