Our client is seeking a proactive individual to focus on developing new accounts and markets within the electronic security industry. This role involves identifying opportunities, securing new business, and retaining customers to ensure the continuation of contracts. The expected order values range from £5k to £50k, with no upper limit on project size, and support is available for larger opportunities.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of new business opportunities with a first year target of £600k.
  • Retaining and extending new contracts brought in.
  • Ownership of the customer forecast and the attainment of annual sales and order targets
  • Manage the bidding process for contracts, ensuring timely and competitive responses, including system designs and quotes (assistance can be provided with the expectation that they will be predominantly self-sufficient).
  • Development of presentations required to support customer meetings, initiatives, and requirements.
  • Maintain a high awareness of competitor activity and develop strategies to ensure the business maintains a sales advantage.
  • Track product changes, market transitions, and new technologies to ensure the business is always offering best-in-class products and services.
  • Ensure the company offers products and service levels that comply with customer and market expectations. Initiate actions and follow-up to meet those customer expectations.
