Company: Our client is a forward-thinking Building Services firm dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineering. They specialise in leveraging Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology to optimise design, construction, and maintenance processes.


Role Overview: As a BIM Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading BIM efforts, ensuring the seamless integration of technology, processes, and people to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. You will manage a team of BIM Coordinators, oversee project-specific BIM implementation, and collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to drive efficiency and excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of BIM Coordinators, providing guidance, support, and training to foster their professional development.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee the implementation of BIM processes and workflows on various projects, ensuring adherence to standards, schedules, and quality benchmarks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to coordinate BIM deliverables and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews of BIM models and documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit, providing technical support and guidance to team members as needed.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in BIM technology and methodology, exploring opportunities to enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their BIM requirements, provide expert advice and guidance, and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in MEP engineering, with a strong understanding of building systems and construction processes.
  • Proven experience in BIM coordination and management, including a thorough understanding of BIM software (particularly Autodesk Revit).
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and empower team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are desirable.
