Are you a skilled BIM Technician looking for a new challenge? Look no further! An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented BIM Technician to join one of the largest Fire and Security Integrators in Dronfield!
Job Description:
- The role of the BIM Technician is to support the BIM Team Leader with BIM co-ordination.
- Produce CAD designs for complex life safety, electronic security systems and IT infrastructure including, but not limited to, fire detection, voice alarm, disabled refuge, CCTV, access control and intruder systems.
- You will join our busy CAD team and through on the job training, learn to become fully knowledgeable of AutoCAD 2D and 3D Revit software.
- Produce and amend CAD Design, Construction and As Fitted drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Maintain weekly model uploads for the live project that is being worked on.
Key Requirements:
- To be computer literate and proficient in all core Microsoft Office packages
- Prior experience of 2D or 3D CAD software.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and submission items for tender/contract.
- To be honest, trustworthy and to maintain strict confidentiality in performing duties relating to finance and tenders.
- Have the ability to form good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and outside bodies.
- Display initiative and to have strong attention to detail.
