Our Client is a prominent provider in the electronic security industry, specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of enterprise-level security systems. Their product portfolio includes advanced solutions such as access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, perimeter security, anti-drone technology, and under-vehicle scanning systems. They cater to high-security clients, including government sites, data centres, and distribution centres, and are looking for a skilled Business Development Manager to drive sales efforts in Northern England.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve growth targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify, target, and engage high-security customers, including government sites, data centres, and distribution centres.
  • Present and demonstrate the benefits and features of our electronic security products, including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, perimeter security, anti-drone systems, and under-vehicle scanning solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with technical and project teams to ensure customer requirements are met effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets to maximise OTE earnings.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the electronic security industry or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic security products, particularly access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, perimeter security, anti-drone technology, and under-vehicle scanning systems.
  • Strong network and connections within high-security sectors, such as government, data centres, and distribution sites.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
