We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to represent a leading security product portfolio within a designated region. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a well-established area with excellent growth potential.
The company has a strong presence in the region and has consistently achieved year-on-year growth. While solid partnerships are already in place, there remains significant potential to expand market share further.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Drive sales growth within the region, building relationships with both existing and new customers.
- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the security industry.
- Strategy Formulation: Work with senior management to develop long-term business development strategies.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong personal relationships with key customers, providing a high level of support and regular contact.
- Competitor Analysis: Actively target and replace competitor specifications with the company’s solutions.
- Account Management: Negotiate and maintain annual agreements with key accounts, where applicable, and develop personalised account management plans.
- Team Collaboration: Share information with colleagues and management to ensure alignment across regional and cross-regional projects.
- Product Training: Deliver regular training sessions for partners to increase product knowledge and engagement.
- CRM Management: Ensure accurate recording and tracking of customer interactions, quotes, and project updates in the company’s CRM system.
- Market Intelligence: Develop a comprehensive understanding of competitor products and strategies, providing insights to management and product development teams.
- Quote Management: Follow up on quotations provided to customers, ensuring updates are accurately reflected in the CRM system.
- Target Achievement: Develop strategies to achieve and exceed set sales targets and KPIs.
About You:
- Proven experience in business development within the security industry or a related field.
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing time effectively in an autonomous role.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve mutual success.
- Comfortable working in a competitive market, with a focus on quality and customer service as key differentiators.
