As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our engineering projects, particularly within the water industry. You will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and finalising electrical designs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Mark up and put together detailed electrical drawings for various projects within the water industry.
  • Review and Finalization: Conduct thorough reviews of final designs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and feasibility.
  • Load and Instrument Schedules: Prepare and manage load and instrument schedules, ensuring all project requirements are met.
  • Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings to present and discuss design concepts, project progress, and technical details.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and compliance in all design activities, adhering to industry regulations and best practices.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, with significant experience within the water industry.
  • Strong proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, load schedules, and instrument schedules.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience in client-facing roles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
