Are you an experienced fire alarm engineer with expertise in Gent and Notifier systems? Join our clients North-West team to specialise in fire safety solutions, with a focus on servicing and maintaining industry-leading systems.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems, particularly Gent and Notifier equipment, adhering to quality standards.
  • Perform additional works at customer premises to ensure fire systems meet the highest safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain system statuses, necessary upgrades, and any detected defects.
  • Collaborate with service administrators to meet fire system service commitments.
  • Plan and manage tasks, including maintenance visits, emergency repairs, and fire system additions.
  • Complete all company paperwork legibly and punctually.
  • Adhere to the Company Handbook, quality standards, and health & safety protocols.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure all fire alarm systems are fully operational upon departure or communicate unresolved issues to relevant parties.
  • Deliver accurate and timely documentation for all fire system services.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction with professional service delivery.

 

Key Competencies:

Skills

  • Expertise in servicing fire alarm systems, including Gent and Notifier.
  • Strong knowledge of fire detection system cable identification, testing, and termination.
  • Logical fault diagnosis and repair of fire alarm systems.
  • Familiarity with cable containment systems for fire safety installations.
  • Professional interactions with customers and teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Technical Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge of fire alarm troubleshooting, false alarm prevention, and system integration.
  • Trained in Basic Electrical Safety (ECA).
  • Certification in servicing Gent and Notifier fire alarm systems is preferred.
