Fire Alarm Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rack-up, programming, verification, and inspection of fire alarm systems, access control and intercom systems, and other fire protection equipment.
- Conduct inspections and service on both our client's products and non-client products.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of inspection reports.
- Provide technical support to customers as required.
- Deliver operational training to end-users.
- Foster a positive experience for our customers and end-users when working with our client.
- Read and comprehend engineered drawings, specifications, programs, schematics, installation manuals, and service manuals.
Requirements and Skills:
- Technicians should have 3-5 years of experience as a Service Technician in the Fire Alarm industry.
- Possess an electronics diploma or equivalent from an accredited college/university, or have documented and demonstrated trade qualifications.
- Hold Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) registration or a comparable qualification.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
- Capable of lifting equipment and tools up to 70lbs, as well as climbing ladders and scaffolding.
- Hold a valid and clean motor vehicle license.
- Knowledge of our client's systems is considered an asset.
- Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel is considered an asset.
