About the Client:
- Our client, specialists in the Fire and Security industry, are seeking a hardworking and passionate Fire and Security Engineer based around the South East area to join their service team on a permanent basis.
The Role:
- Carry out system maintenance, reactive and small or extra works to, CCTV, access control, security systems, automatic fire, fire extinguishing and fire aspiration alarm systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities
- Complete upgrades and system repairs, small works, and system commissioning
Qualities Required:
- City and Guilds 236 pts 1&2 electrical installation or equivalent
- Proven knowledge on relevant Fire standards BS 5839 Pt 1 – 2017, BS 6266 Pt 1 – 2013, BS 7273 Standards
- Ideally be trained to FIA standards Units 1 (Fire Detection Design), Unit 4 (Installation and Testing)
- Experience installing and servicing IP and Analog systems
- Minimum of 4 years service experience is required for this role
