Fire Maintenance Engineer
South East
Up to £36,000, travel -30 minutes, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, birthday off, company van, perkbox, 40 hour working week
Our client, specialists in the Fire industry, are seeking a hardworking and passionate Maintenance Engineer based around the South East area to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Role:
- Provide day to day planned and reactive maintenance of contracts.
- To respond to emergency callouts and carry out any remedial works as required.
- Carry out asset verification.
- Install replacement/ additional equipment.
- Take part in the on-call rota of 1 in 12.
- Conduct site surveys as required.
- Training of apprentices.
- To always act in a professional and diligent manor, considering the need of the client.
- Working on Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C-Tec, and more.
Qualities Required:
- FIA Level 1 & 5
- 18th Edition Electrical or equivalent
- Good understanding of the British Standards BS 5839 and BS 5266
- 2+ years of relevant Industry Experience.
- Social Housing Experience
- Able to communicate effectively on all levels
- Able to manage duties effectively
- Concise, attention to detail
- Identify and solve problems effectively.
- Able to work under pressure.
