Provide expert guidance and technical consultancy services across a range of projects. This role will primarily focus on LOLER inspections and lift surveys, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) inspections to assess the safety and compliance of lifts and escalators.
  • Perform condition surveys, asset inspections, and risk assessments on vertical transportation systems.
  • Provide technical advice and consultancy to clients, helping them maintain safe and efficient lift systems.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommendations, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to support project delivery and compliance objectives.
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations, best practices, and technological advancements in lift engineering.

 

Requirements:

  • A qualified Lift Engineer with experience in LOLER inspections and lift surveys.
  • Recognised qualifications such as LEIA, NVQ Level 3+ in Lift Engineering, or similar.
  • Thorough understanding of LOLER, PUWER, and other relevant legislation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in report writing.
  • A proactive and professional approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred).
