Looking for a new role? Our clients is looking for a Lift Service Engineer to support contractual service clients, encompassing a broad range of customers from large corporate commercial sites to high-wealth individuals' private homes. This role is the most significant client-facing position within the business concerning day-to-day client interactions. Effective service delivery is crucial for retaining and growing our service portfolio, supporting broader divisional and branch goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and servicing of lifts, adhering to NVQ Level 3 standards.
  • Utilise strong electrical and mechanical skills in practical environments.
  • Plan workloads effectively, balancing responsive and planned activities.
  • Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficient in using standard test instruments and hand tools.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with a broad range of commercial and residential customers.
  • Collaborate with engineering personnel to resolve unusual system operation and maintenance issues.
  • Advise management on customer satisfaction, product performance, and product improvement suggestions.
  • Competent in using field service software and MS Office suite.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Servicing.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Effective organisational and workload planning skills
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with test instruments and hand tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Computer literate with familiarity in field service software and MS Office.
