Responsibilities:

Creating 2D/3D CAD layouts and visual representations.
Utilising industry software applications for building environmental modelling.
Conducting Dynamic Thermal Simulations and Summertime Overheating Assessments.
Performing Part L Calculations.
Preparing utility applications.
Evaluating Low Carbon Design Solutions.
Reviewing Performance Specifications.
Assisting with comprehensive Building Services Design, including heating, ventilation, cooling, domestic services, lighting, power, BMS (Building Management System), security, and fire detection/smoke control.#
Collaborating with Project Installation Teams.
Engaging with suppliers and specialised subcontractors.
Creating Technical Submission Documents.

Experience & Qualities Required:

Strong communication skills, with the ability to express themselves confidently and professionally.
Capable of working effectively as part of a team, while also being self-motivated and independent.
Possession of an appropriate engineering qualification at HNC/HND/Degree level.
Demonstrated expertise and a successful track record in building services design, gained in either a contracting or consultancy setting.
For trainee positions, a minimum of 3 A-level passes (Grade B or above) in subjects like Maths, Physics, or other numerate/science disciplines.
A GCSE pass (Grade C or above) in English.
Proficiency in IT skills.
