Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for HVAC projects within the commercial and industrial sectors.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to ensure accurate pricing.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and ensure cost efficiency.
- Support the bid process, identifying risks and opportunities to maximize success rates.
- Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure seamless handover of successful bids.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market trends and pricing.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the commercial/industrial HVAC sector.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including design and installation requirements.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communicator, capable of building strong supplier and team relationships.
- Proficient in relevant estimating software and Microsoft Office tools.
