Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in Central London? We have a fantastic permanent or contract role available for a talented individual like you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage all phases of mechanical projects, ensuring successful completion of projects valued at £20m+.
  • Budget Control: Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and costs are managed effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, architects, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure all work meets specified standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and respond to issues as they arise to minimise impact on project timelines and outcomes.
  • Schedule Management: Develop detailed project schedules, track progress, and ensure milestones are met according to plan.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all project activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety on site.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale mechanical projects, with a minimum value of £20m.
  • Strong background in plumbing and heating systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
