Join a well-established construction and building services company renowned for delivering complex and high-quality mechanical systems across a range of sectors. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Lead the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cost Control & Resource Allocation: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective use of resources while maintaining project quality.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the efforts of mechanical engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all mechanical systems are installed in compliance with industry standards and regulations, prioritising site safety and quality.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed reports, schedules, and financial documents, providing regular updates to senior management and clients.
  • Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or logistical issues that may arise during the project.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Significant experience in mechanical project management within the construction or building services sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices on-site.
