Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in London? Look no further! Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their dynamic team.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and company health and safety requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures and communicate relevant information to project staff.
  • Administer contracts in line with the company's scope and role.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with clients, potential clients, and their respective advisors.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director to ensure adequate staffing with qualified personnel and identify future needs.
  • Maximise project margins and control costs effectively.
  • Safeguard the company's interests during contract negotiations, on-site works, and post-contract discussions, maintaining comprehensive records throughout project delivery.
  • Foster relationships with senior consultants and subcontractor personnel.
  • Collaborate with department heads to keep staff training current and facilitate the progression of 'fast track' personnel.
  • Set exemplary standards of behaviour and conduct for the project, leading by example.
  • Communicate the Company and Project strategy to the project team, ensuring comprehension and achievement of objectives, and liaise with departmental teams to meet project needs.
  • Coordinate with the procurement lead during the tender, negotiation, and construction phases.
  • Effectively manage the programme of work.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record leading on-site teams, managing electrical and other sub-contractors, specialising in pipework-driven projects and modular plantroom installations.
  • Successful management of tight schedules and milestone-driven delivery strategies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of heating and ventilation industry practices, cost-conscious decision-making, and contractual obligations.
  • Proficient in implementing safe work systems, cultivating client relationships, and awareness of various forms of contracts.
  • Conscientious, positive, and reliable with a full UK driving licence.
