Project Manager

£50,000 - £55,000 basic + Car Allowance/Car + Annual Performance Bonus + Commission for Sales Assistance

Remote & On-Site (No Office Requirement) – Must be able to travel in and out of London 3-4 times per week

 

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Lead the planning, design, execution, and completion of fire system projects.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and resources, adjusting as necessary.

Technical & Industry Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of fire systems design and applications.
  • Knowledge of British Standards and regulations in fire safety.
  • Ideally experienced with Gent, Notifier, and Siemens fire systems.

Financial & Commercial Oversight:

  • Full P&L responsibility, including margin control and financial reporting.
  • Understanding of application processes, final account negotiation, and cost-to-complete analysis.
  • Assist sales teams, earning commission for successful contributions.

Team & Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Report to senior management and clients on project performance.

 

Skills & Competencies Required:

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the fire systems industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety systems and British Standards.
  • Ability to monitor and control budgets effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Technical acumen and understanding of fire system applications.
  • CSCS Gold Card holder.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Gent, Notifier, Siemens fire systems.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects (£500k+).
