Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for electronic security projects, including access control systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and related components.

Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead the procurement process, prepare tender documents, and evaluate bids from suppliers and contractors.

Identify, assess, and manage potential risks related to project costs and finances.

Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure favorable terms for the organisation.

Collaborate with project managers and on-site teams to monitor project progress, including financial aspects, and resolve any financial issues that may arise.

Handle variation orders and change requests, ensuring that additional work is appropriately documented and accounted for.

Provide regular financial reports and updates to the management team, highlighting project financial performance.

Ensure that all financial practices and documentation adhere to relevant industry regulations and standards.

The role may require travel to various project sites as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the electronic security or construction industry.

Proficiency in cost estimation and project budget management.

Strong knowledge of electronic security systems and components.

Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

Ability to travel to project sites across multiple locations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Financial acumen and attention to detail.

Professional certification or membership in relevant industry associations is a plus.
