As a Security System Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and reliability of security systems. Your responsibilities will include servicing, repairing, and maintaining various security systems such as CCTV cameras, and intruder alarms.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular servicing and maintenance tasks on security systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in security equipment, including CCTV cameras, and intruder alarms.
  • Conduct thorough testing and inspection of security systems to identify any issues or potential problems. Ensure systems are operating correctly and efficiently.
  • Interact with clients to schedule service appointments, discuss maintenance plans, and address any concerns or queries they may have regarding their security systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of service visits, maintenance activities, and repairs performed. Complete service reports and paperwork in a timely and organised manner.
  • Participate in the callout rota, providing on-call support for emergency situations on a rotational basis (1 in 7).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in security technology and industry best practices. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in servicing and maintaining security systems.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
