Are you looking for a new opportunity? Our Clients are experts in engineering, architecture, and development services and are looking to expand their growing team. Their Design Division projects span residential, logistics, retail, aviation, healthcare, education, advanced manufacturing, data centres, energy, and more.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the team Director and support the project lead.
  • Manage day-to-day design and drawing production for technical project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the team, delegate tasks, and communicate effectively.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and provide technical guidance.
  • Attend and contribute to project/client meetings.
  • Assist with site inspections and surveys.
  • Undertake design tasks using expert technical knowledge.
  • Oversee and maintain high-quality technical design output.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with external project team members and clients.
  • Recognise and manage cost/time and budget implications.
  • Support in preparing fee proposals.
  • Produce detailed technical output using design models and expert knowledge.
  • Validate design models and calculations.
  • Contribute to technical specifications and reports.
  • Manage drawing production and ensure adherence to BIM protocols.

 

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree (preferably accredited Masters Degree with ICE/IStructE) in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent Level 6 qualification.
  • Chartered or incorporated with a relevant professional body or working towards a chartership.
  • Minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience.
  • Competent in relevant drawing, modelling, and design software applications.
  • Strong technical knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
  • Good commercial awareness and project management skills.
  • Continuous professional development and up-to-date with legislation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
