Senior HVAC Project Manager

Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site surveys after receiving orders and accurately quantify the required materials for ordering.
- Collaborate with the saes team to take design responsibility for the project, potentially attending pre-contract meetings.
- Generate purchase orders for the necessary materials.
- Establish effective communication plans to keep both the client and internal stakeholders well-informed.
- Prepare risk assessments, method statements, and other health and safety documentation as required by the client.
- Manage the installation process, including overseeing subcontractors if applicable.
- Address and resolve client queries promptly and effectively.
- Ensure the completion of operation and maintenance manuals at the conclusion of the project.
- Instruct and communicate invoicing and variations to the client and relevant parties.
- Attend site and office project meetings to provide updates on the status of projects.
- Provide regular reporting on project progress and key data to management.
- Facilitate the smooth handover of information to the after-sales team.
- Undertake any additional tasks necessary to ensure the timely and budget compliant completion of the project.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Preferred qualifications in Project Management, such as Prince2.
- H&S training, such as SMSTS.
- Possession of a full driving license, preferably with a clean record.
- HVAC/Building Services technical ONC or HNV would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated successful experience in a similar role, managing projects with a value of up to £0.5m.
- Proven ability to comprehend HVAC design fundamentals.
- Track record of concurrently managing multiple projects, delivering them on time and meeting expected standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with supporting evidence.
- Experience working in a construction environment, preferably with CSCS or SKILLcard, although not essential.
- Knowledge in Engineering, Mechanical, or Controls.
