Senior Quantity Surveyor - Telecoms

Bristol

£65,000 basic + 28 days holiday + bank holidays, private medical healthcare

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will assume full commercial responsibility for a regional project valued at approximately £50 million, from the award phase through to completion. Your primary objectives are to maintain and enhance the quality of service and profitability while ensuring compliance with our company's standards and those of our clients. Effective communication and collaboration with clients, designers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders are integral to the role.

Job Description:

• Maximising profit recovery through client and subcontractor accounts.
• Fostering a profit-driven team with a focus on maintaining positive client and subcontractor relationships.
• Optimising cash flow through external valuations and subcontractor account management.
• Monitoring reserves, work in progress, and subcontractor payments.
• Assisting the Financial Department in recovering outstanding payments.
• Monitoring the progress of both the main final account and subcontractors' final accounts.
• Facilitating the recovery of retention and similar financial aspects.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in the construction and telecommunications industries with knowledge of relevant standards.
• Security clearance to DV level (preferred) or SC level (minimum).
• Prior experience on large-scale defence or MoD projects.
• Strong ability to establish collaborative working relationships.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
