Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the maintenance efforts for the airport security systems, encompassing CCTV cameras, access control, X-ray scanners, metal detectors, and related equipment.
- Develop and implement a strategic maintenance plan, guaranteeing optimal functionality and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and assessments to proactively identify issues, troubleshoot malfunctions, and address system vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure timely delivery of replacement parts, materials, and equipment necessary for maintenance and repair.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, staying current on evolving security technologies and suggesting upgrades or enhancements.
- Establish open lines of communication with airport management, security personnel, and stakeholders to transparently report maintenance activities, system performance, and potential disruptions.
- Manage the maintenance budget, tracking expenses while ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Act as a liaison between our company and the client (airport)ensuring contract requirements and client expectations are met.
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Security Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of proven experience managing maintenance operations for intricate security systems, preferably within airports or critical infrastructure settings.
- In-depth knowledge of airport security technologies, including CCTV, access control, biometrics, and intrusion detection.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose system malfunctions effectively.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information to various stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, fostering collaboration, coaching, and development.
- Certifications such as CISSP or CSPM are advantageous.
- Familiarity with TSA guidelines and relevant regulations in airport security.
- Ability to work full-time, onsite in the Daytona Beach area.
