Overview of the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Lift Tester to join our clients team, specialising in the commissioning and testing of new lift installations. This role involves working across the Midlands and North, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards. Flexibility is key, as travel and overnight stays are required (accommodation and expenses covered).
This is a Monday to Friday role with flexible working hours to suit your schedule and site access times. The role includes a benefits package and the opportunity to negotiate bonus schemes with the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing and commissioning new lift installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues during the installation phase.
- Completing and maintaining detailed test reports and documentation.
- Liaising with installation teams, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Adhering to all safety and compliance standards on-site.
Qualifications & Experience:
- NVQ Level 4
- Proven experience as a Lift Tester or in a similar role within the lift industry.
- Strong knowledge of lift installation processes and safety regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
