15+ years’ fire alarm leadership, mentoring and commissioning expertise

Key Skills & Experience

  • Over 15 years’ experience across electrical installation engineering dedicated to fire systems including service, maintenance, fault-finding, commissioning and site supervision.
  • Experienced with Notifier, Gent, Advanced and Kentec fire panels, plus emergency lighting systems, basic CCTV, access control and gas suppression.
  • Strong across installation, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, commissioning, engineer mentoring and audit support; currently working as a senior fire alarm engineer / lead field technician.
  • Has worked on domestic, commercial and industrial installations, as well as site-based fire alarm projects, maintenance contracts and live client premises.
  • Holds EAL Level 3 BS5839 fire alarm requirements, EAL Level 3 BS5266-1 emergency lighting, FIA and BAFE fire safety qualifications, plus IOSH Working Safely and IPAF.
