Contract and Maintenance Salesperson | Bath & Bristol (covering surrounding areas) | £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Join a leading fire and security company serving Bath and Bristol. This role combines business development with contract management — ideal for someone who thrives on winning new clients and maintaining long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and secure new maintenance contracts for fire and security systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, door-to-door visits, networking, and following up on enquiries.
  • Develop tailored proposals and quotations to meet client needs and close new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage renewals, upgrades, and referrals.
  • Oversee the delivery of secured maintenance contracts, ensuring timely service, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance visits, working closely with engineers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor contract performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Prepare accurate reports, quotations, and contract renewals in line with company policies.
  • Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and competitors to support continued sales growth.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in sales, ideally within fire and security or a related technical service industry.
  • Confident and self-motivated with a strong ability to generate leads and close sales through cold calling and face-to-face meetings.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Organised, results-focused, and able to manage multiple clients and contracts simultaneously.
  • Experience using service management or CRM software, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence.
