Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Service Manager to lead and manage service operations for a client in the Bath area. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service, manage a team of engineers and support staff, and drive operational excellence across all service activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day service operations, including scheduling, resource planning, and job allocation

Manage and motivate a team of engineers, ensuring high performance and compliance with company standards

Maintain strong relationships with clients, resolving issues promptly and professionally

Ensure health and safety compliance and adherence to industry regulations

Monitor KPIs and service performance, reporting to senior management

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies
Requirements:

Proven experience in a Service Manager or similar leadership role

Strong understanding of service delivery, ideally within fire & security, electrical, or mechanical sectors

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability to manage and develop teams effectively
