Client Account Manager – Fire & Life Safety Systems
Location: Midlands area | Department: Account Management
Reports to: Sales Director / Regional Manager

Are you experienced in managing client relationships within the fire and life safety industry? We're looking for a Client Account Manager to nurture existing clients, ensure contract satisfaction, and identify opportunities for growth within our fire detection and life safety systems portfolio.

About the Role

You'll be the primary contact for a portfolio of commercial, industrial, and public-sector clients, ensuring their systems remain compliant, well-maintained, and up to date. Your technical insight and customer-first approach will help strengthen long-term partnerships and support service excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage and grow relationships across assigned accounts
• Advise clients on upgrades, compliance (BS 5839, BS 7671), and maintenance plans
• Coordinate closely with engineering and project teams to deliver top-tier service
• Spot upselling and cross-selling opportunities; prepare proposals and quotes
• Conduct regular reviews and site visits; log all activity in CRM
• Support new contract mobilisation and client onboarding

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in account/client management within fire, life safety, or security systems
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic fire detection systems (addressable & conventional)
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• FIA or equivalent fire industry training
• Familiarity with Gent, Hochiki, Advanced, Apollo, Kentec
• Sound understanding of BS 5839 and relevant UK fire safety standards
