A well-established national provider of compliance-driven building services is seeking a Business Development professional with a strong track record in securing Fire & Security service contracts within the Facilities Management (FM) sector. This is a strategic, field-based role focused on building long-term partnerships and driving service contract growth across the commercial property and FM landscape.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with FM providers, estate managers, and property groups. Your aim will be to secure long-term maintenance and compliance contracts across a range of Fire & Security systems including fire alarms, CCTV, intruder detection, and access control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with FM providers, managing agents, and commercial landlords to position Fire & Security services as a preferred supplier
  • Develop tailored service agreements, maintenance proposals, and compliance-driven packages
  • Sell across multiple disciplines and sites by promoting integrated service offerings and national coverage
  • Work alongside technical and service teams to build scalable, value-driven client proposals
  • Influence contract specifications and tender outcomes through consultative engagement
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to long-term business growth

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience securing Fire & Security contracts in the FM or property services market
  • Existing relationships within hard/soft FM providers or large property portfolios
  • Strong knowledge of compliance-led services including Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Systems
  • Commercially astute with a consultative, solutions-based sales style
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and confident in managing longer sales cycles
