Key Responsibilities

Lead planning, scheduling, resource management, and cost control for mechanical works within complex projects (e.g. VRF, fan coil units, AHUs, LTHW/CHW plant, public health, sprinklers, BMS integration).

Coordinate in-house and specialist teams (engineering, commissioning, controls) to ensure seamless execution across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.

Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to define mechanical engineering scope and technical requirements.

Manage tendering, procurement, contractor relationships, and subcontractor coordination to ensure timely and compliant deliverables.

Oversee quality assurance, health & safety compliance, and regulatory adherence for mechanical and building services installations.

Monitor and report project milestones, budgets, risks, and contractual obligations; implement corrective actions as needed.

Champion M&E standards, continuous improvement, and innovation in controls, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Chartered or chartered-equivalent mechanical engineer (e.g. CEng, IMechE, or equivalent), or significant experience in mechanical project management within the building services sector.

Proven track record managing integrated mechanical and M&E projects—especially in categories such as CAT A/B fit-outs, shell & core, refurbishments, and specialist installations.

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, BMS, refrigeration, chilled water systems, fire service integration, and controls—plus direct familiarity with plant installation and commissioning.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Competence with project software (e.g. Revit, BIM tools) and MS Project or similar scheduling platforms.

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will lead, coordinate, and deliver mechanical engineering and installation projects from inception to completion.
