Service & Maintenance Engineer – Fire & Security | Midlands | £38,000

Be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and supporting a range of fire and/or security systems across commercial and healthcare sites such as colleges, pharmacies, and other non-domestic environments.

Full training and cross-discipline development will be provided where required  - so engineers with either fire or security experience we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on fire and/or security systems.

• Delivering exceptional customer service to clients across commercial sites (no domestic work).

• Completing accurate reports and documentation for all service and maintenance visits.

• Participating in a 1-in-6 call-out rota (with most issues resolved remotely by phone).

• Liaising with the service desk and management team to ensure efficient job completion.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in servicing and maintaining fire and/or security systems (single discipline applicants will be considered).

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues independently.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Package & Benefits:

• OTE: £45,000 (basic salary + overtime + call-outs).

• Call-out rota: 1 in 6, with £180 standby allowance and £30 per call-out.
