Installation Engineer (Fire & Security) | £45,000 OTE + Benefits | Midlands

The role focuses on delivering small works and installation projects across a variety of commercial sites – including colleges, pharmacies, and other non-domestic environments. Typical installs include mag locks, fire detectors, and other core fire and security systems.

We will consider applicants with a single discipline background (fire OR security) and provide full training to develop skills across both.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and handover fire and security systems, including access control, intruder, CCTV, and fire detection.

• Carry out small works, upgrades, and modifications.

• Ensure installations are completed in line with industry standards and company procedures.

• Provide occasional call-out support (1 in 6 rota, with most issues resolved over the phone).

• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients.

• Complete all relevant documentation and reports accurately.

Requirements:

• Previous experience installing fire and/or security systems (training provided if single discipline).

• Good working knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused attitude.

• Full UK driving licence.

Package & Benefits:

• £45,000 OTE (including standby/call-out payments).
