Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on Fire & Security systems

  • Perform fault diagnosis, rectification, and preventative maintenance

  • Respond promptly to emergencies and breakdowns

  • Maintain accurate documentation and QA compliance

  • Coordinate with specialist subcontractors when required

  • Support the growth of the contract with system upgrades and project works

  • Assist other trades as needed, prioritising workload effectively

Skills & Experience Required

Essential:

  • Fire & Security Apprenticeship or equivalent

  • Health & Safety training

  • GCSEs (‘O’ Level) in Maths & English or equivalent

  • Certified experience in fire alarms

  • Practical experience in IP and analogue CCTV

  • IPAF trained & valid Chapter 8 ECS card

Desirable:

  • City & Guilds Part 3 (Electrical Installation 2360) or equivalent

  • IT & Networking knowledge

  • Supervisory experience for future career growth
