Job Title: Key Account Manager - Fire Alarm Systems

Role Overview:
Results-driven Key Account Manager with specialist expertise in fire alarm systems, including conventional, addressable, and networked multi-panel solutions. Strong technical knowledge of BS 5839 and proven ability to translate compliance requirements into commercially successful maintenance contracts. Skilled in developing long-term client relationships within Facilities Management (FM) and critical infrastructure sectors, delivering sustainable revenue growth and high-value service solutions.

- Delivered consistent organic growth in fire alarm maintenance contracts, aligning with company sales strategy and margin targets.
- Identified, developed, and secured new fire detection maintenance opportunities through industry networking, existing relationships, and cross-selling across group companies.
- Acted as a technical and commercial advisor on fire alarm systems, supporting clients with compliant, future-proof solutions across:
- Conventional systems
- Addressable fire alarm systems
- Large-scale, networked multi-panel systems
- Built and maintained strong relationships with Facilities Management providers, achieving preferred supplier status for fire detection and life safety services.
- Led tender submissions and bid activity, producing client-focused proposals aligned with integrated “One Solution” fire and security offerings.
- Developed and managed a robust sales pipeline, achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual growth targets in recurring maintenance revenue.
- Collaborated cross-functionally with estimators, service teams, and group businesses to deliver end-to-end fire system solutions.
- Conducted site surveys to assess fire alarm system compliance, lifecycle status, and upgrade opportunities.
- Ensured all solutions adhered to UK fire safety legislation and industry standards, maintaining the organisation’s reputation for compliance and quality.
