We are working on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded fire specialist seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to work on high-profile sites across Central London.

The Role

As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, fault finding, commissioning and maintaining a range of open protocol fire alarm systems across commercial properties. The majority of your work will be based in Central London, offering a consistent and manageable travel area.

You will join an established engineering team and take part in a 1-in-4 week on-call rota, with additional overtime available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fault finding on open protocol fire alarm systems

  • Commissioning of new and upgraded fire alarm installations

  • Planned preventative maintenance

  • Reactive call-outs

  • Accurate completion of service reports and documentation

  • Participation in 1-in-4 on-call rota

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer

  • Strong knowledge of open protocol systems

  • Essential experience with Gent systems

  • Commissioning experience highly desirable

  • Good understanding of relevant British Standards

  • Full UK driving licence
