About the Role

We are seeking a driven and proactive Service Sales Consultant to support the growth of our fire, security, and life safety service division across the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that keep organisations safe, compliant, and fully supported.

In this role, you will be responsible for expanding service and maintenance contracts, developing new business opportunities, and providing consultative sales solutions across multiple fire and safety disciplines.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving growth of service and maintenance contracts across fire and life safety systems
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the Midlands region
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders including procurement teams, compliance managers, and contract managers
  • Conducting site surveys and preparing proposals, quotations, and pricing
  • Delivering professional sales presentations and consultative solutions
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver integrated, multi-discipline service offerings
  • Managing your sales pipeline and supporting accurate forecasting

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years’ B2B field sales experience, ideally within fire, security, or life safety services
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
  • Good understanding of fire safety systems (e.g. fire systems, fire dampers, gas suppression). Knowledge of sprinklers or security systems is advantageous
  • Experience working with facilities management companies is beneficial
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into clear client benefits
  • Strong organisational and pipeline management skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence
