Group Installation Manager - Fire, Security and Networks | Up to £60,000 | South West

The Group Installation Manager will take full responsibility for the operational delivery of installation projects across the business. This role leads installation teams, ensures projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget, and drives commercial performance through full P and L ownership. Working closely with senior leadership, Sales and Service teams, you will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, achieving SLA performance and supporting continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage installation teams to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget
  • Take full P and L responsibility for the installation function, ensuring financial and operational targets are achieved
  • Oversee project delivery, construction programmes, cost control and contract performance
  • Act as lead contact for key client contracts, ensuring SLA delivery, compliance and customer satisfaction
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Sales, Service and senior leadership teams
  • Support business development activity and contribute to winning and growing key accounts
  • Monitor and review project performance, providing corrective actions where required
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards and company procedures
  • Lead, coach and develop teams, driving performance against KPIs, SLAs and strategic objectives
  • Manage resource planning, team allocation and operational priorities across projects
  • Produce and analyse reports on progress, costs, forecasts and team performance
  • Promote continuous improvement in installation methods, quality and efficiency

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in contracts or installation management within construction or engineering
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project costing and P and L
  • Background within the Fire and Security industry
  • Demonstrable leadership experience managing technical teams and driving performance
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, RAMS and subcontractor management
  • Experience delivering against KPIs, SLAs and operational targets
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using IT systems

Desirable Requirements

  • HND or equivalent technical qualification
  • NEBOSH, IOSH or SMSTS certification
  • Experience using Joblogic or similar systems
  • Knowledge of NEC3/4 or JCT contracts
  • CSCS card or equivalent
  • Experience in resource planning and contract law
