Role Summary

Due to a significant increase in newly secured projects, the company is looking for an experienced Senior Fire & Security Installation Engineer. The successful candidate will install a broad range of Fire, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control systems across sites within or near the M25. This is a senior technical position requiring strong installation skills, problem-solving ability, and a high standard of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Install Fire, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control systems to a high technical standard.
• Lead on complex installations and act as a senior technical point on site.
• Provide troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and technical support when required.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure installations meet design, compliance and industry standards.
• Complete all relevant documentation, commissioning and compliance records.
• Ensure all work aligns with current British Standards and company procedures.
• Participate in the on-call rota and undertake overtime when required.
• Maintain a professional approach when representing the business on client sites.

Key Requirements / Skills

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Fire & Security Installation Engineer.

• Experience across the four core disciplines: Fire, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control.
• Technical experience with the following systems:
  • Intruder: Texecom (with knowledge of relevant British Standards)
  • Access Control: Paxton, PAC
  • Door Entry: BPT, Fermax
  • Video Door Entry: BPT, Comelit
  • CCTV: Hikvision, DVRs, NVRs, Analogue systems, IP cameras, networked CCTV
  • Fire: Analogue and IP-based network systems
• IPAF certification (required).
• Must reside within or near the M25.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Requirements

• Additional security/fire qualifications or manufacturer-specific training.
• Previous experience in commercial and high-end residential environments.

Location & Work Pattern

• Location: Within or near the M25 (London & South East).
• Pattern: On-site installation role with on-call rotation and overtime.
• Travel required across commercial and high-end residential sites.
