The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced and confident Control Room Team Leader to join their 24/7 operations team. This is a pivotal leadership role, reporting into the Operations Manager, with responsibility for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of a busy control room environment while leading and developing a team of operators.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day control room operations
- Communicate team objectives and performance expectations
- Support training and development initiatives alongside the Operations Manager
- Delegate tasks effectively to maintain a productive working environment
- Conduct regular 1-2-1s and team meetings, providing performance feedback
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new team members
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and incoming calls as part of daily duties
- Ensure the team is informed of operational updates and business changes
- Maintain service standards, particularly around alarm handling and response times
- Identify operational risks and drive continuous improvement
- Attend regular leadership meetings
About You
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
- High attention to detail with a strong customer service focus
- Comfortable using a range of IT systems
- Experience in coaching, training, or mentoring others
- Flexible approach to working shifts across a 7-day rota
