Fire & Security Engineer
Salary: Up to £43,000 (DOE)
Location: Field-based between Reading and Oxford
Hours: Mon–Fri, 08:30–17:00
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, service, and maintain fire & security systems
- Attend emergency callouts and perform routine/reactive maintenance
- Review job specs and drawings for efficient delivery
- Identify upgrade opportunities and complete accurate reports
- Communicate effectively with the helpdesk and colleagues
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5+ years’ experience in fire & security
- Skilled in fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of BS & EN standards
- Familiarity with systems like Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, Morley
- Full UK driving licence
