Fire Service Engineer | Yorkshire/ North | Up to £38,000 + overtime & on-call

Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00 (40 hours)
Contract: Permanent
Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays + Birthday off

Role Overview

An established and growing fire & life safety provider is seeking a Fire Service Engineer to join its Service & Maintenance team. The role involves servicing and maintaining fire detection and suppression systems across a range of commercial environments, delivering high-quality, compliant solutions to clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain and fault-find fire alarm, detection, suppression and aspirating systems
Carry out remedial works to ensure compliance
Work independently across customer sites
Complete digital service reports
Deliver a professional, customer-focused service

Requirements

Essential:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in the fire industry
Experience with addressable fire alarm systems
Installation experience
Strong IT and reporting skills
Full UK driving licence
ECS card (or equivalent)
FIA or industry-recognised qualifications

Desirable:

Gas suppression experience
Aspirating detection knowledge
Security / CCTV / Access Control exposure
