Job Title: Security Project Manager
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 + car allowance
Location: Assigned office in London (flexible for remote-based candidates able to work with minimal supervision)
Travel: Regular nationwide travel required
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Security Project Manager to oversee the delivery of small to medium-sized security system projects across the UK. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with values ranging from £1,000 to £100,000.
You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through to completion
- Coordinate resources, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Conduct site visits and oversee installations across multiple locations nationwide
- Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal departments
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards
- Prepare and manage project documentation, schedules, and reports
- Support commercial activities including cost control and project profitability
Systems & Technologies
Projects will involve a range of security and integrated systems, including but not limited to:
- CCTV systems
- Access Control
- Intruder Detection Systems (IDS)
- Public Address (PA) systems
- Intercom systems
- Radio systems
- IP Networks
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in project management within the security or related industry
- Strong technical knowledge of electronic security systems
- Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Self-sufficient and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel nationally on a regular basis
- Full UK driving licence
