Job Title: Security Project Manager
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 + Car Allowance
Location: Assigned office – London. Open to remote-based candidates able to work with minimal supervision.
Travel: Regular nationwide travel required
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Security Project Manager to deliver small to mid-level security system projects across the UK, with a clear development path into enterprise-level CCTV and Access Control projects.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects typically ranging from £1,000 to £100,000. You will take full ownership of project delivery, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard while maintaining strong client relationships and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through to completion
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and resources for efficient delivery
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Conduct site visits and oversee installations across multiple UK locations
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and stakeholders
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks proactively
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, schedules, and reports
- Support commercial performance, including cost control and profitability
Systems & Technologies
Projects will involve a range of electronic security and integrated systems, including:
- CCTV Systems
- Access Control Systems (ACS)
- Intruder Detection Systems (IDS)
- Public Address (PA) Systems
- Intercom Systems
- Radio Systems
- IP Networks
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
Experience & Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in project management within the security or related industry
- Experience working with both direct clients and main contractors
- Strong technical knowledge of electronic security systems
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Self-sufficient and comfortable working remotely
- Willingness to travel nationwide regularly
- Full UK driving licence required
